It is no secret that Florida is now a booming market. Due to snowbirds morphing to sunbirds, ultimately causing the residential market to drain out of its inventory at a faster pace than what we expected based on the COVID circumstance.
Since the COVID pandemic, employees and business owners have now the flexibility to work from home are making Florida their primary home. The home bound restrictions during the first stage of COVID created the bulb light effect for many Americans. Staying home made them reconsider their current living situation with two factors space and location. Perhaps the less restrictive social distance approach in Florida also helped to make the decision even more attractive.
Based on the numbers in 2019 Orlando, FL alone welcomed over 75 Million tourists. Downtown Orlando is dotted with shared or co-working spaces, popular amongst startups. And the Orlando Public Library features the Melrose Center, and co-working type of space that contains a photography studio, a video studio, a maker lab, sound booths, editing rooms, work stations, free trainings, use of software, use of equipment, and more. All of it open to area residents, or at a low cost to outside visitors. It also offers meeting rooms for rent.
According to Inc Magazine, people are leaving Silicon Valley and heading to Orlando to take advantage of its affordability, access to an international airport, and available tech talent pools courtesy of the local colleges and universities where entrepreneurship is being cultivated.
Orlando, Florida also happens to include some of the most popular vacation destinations in the entire world, it has over 300 days of sunny warm days, theme parks, International Airport, 24 golf courses, lots of recreational opportunities, restaurants selections, entertainments, lower cost of living compared to the East or West Coast all of that made it quite easy to drag the whole family down to Florida.
